BIG THREE O and party favors

Well tomorrow I'm turning the BIG THREE O! I can't believe three decades have gone by.. wow where has the time gone. I feel like I'm still 23 okay 21.... forever 21. Now I can understand how "older" people always said they still feel young cause your age changes, but nothing else does. So in planning my BIG THREE O party for a few close friends I have had thoughts of party favors, invitations, desserts to knock your socks off and much much more on my mind. Here are a few of my favorite party favors from the one and only Martha Stewart. These are simple, yet still classy & fun depending on your color scheme and most importantly easy to DIY.

I love the ties and wrappers over the clear boxes in these first two photos. Just adding a simple ribbon and paper wrapper can transform any ordinary box into a treasured favor.

If you are looking for a party favor using cellophane bags or wrapping here are two really cute options. The first one is simply make a tube with your cellophane, but I like how they placed them sideways. (this could also work if your treats are rectangular. Cellophane bags can be tricky to keep upright and hold their form by place a study base in the same size of the treat. You can then decorate these with a simple sticker.

Or if your into bags as your choice of a party favor- print personal designs onto white bags to spice up your favors. This is a good option if you want a specific dessert or treat that would "clash" with your color scheme but you just must have it. Place it in a well designed bag and enjoy!
