Tis the season to be baking... cookies

Cookies are my favorite sweet to make. They are so easy and rewarding. I have to admit they do take a bit longer, but nothing beats a perfectly baked cookie that is slightly crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside. Plus you get to snack on the cookie dough through the baking process.

Here are some snowflake sugar cookies that I made for a couple close friends. I went with a sweet wintery color scheme to mix it up this year. I love how these turned out.
