Sorry for my spotty postings lately. It has been crazy over here. I head out to China tonight and will be gone for 2 weeks. I will try to post my favorite finds... since the internet connection is not the greatest, I can't promise anything.

floating flower centerpiece

When I saw these pictures I literally gasped. I thought how beautiful. Then my mind started racing and asking "how did they do that?!" Floating floral arrangement... individually suspended clear floral tubes floating above with a single white ranunculus hanging from clear fishing wire.

lemonade stand

As the days of summer are coming to a close on us I will miss these sweet additions to the neighborhood curbs. I would love to throw a lemonade stand party. How fun with that be! Each station would have a different "lemonade stand" feeling to them.  I found great inspiration and ideas for any wedding or shower also! I would have to make a couple batches of these adorable pink lemonade cupcakes tho!!! Aren't they to die for. I LOVE them. I love everything about them- the colors, the bent straw... everything is fabulous! I just want to slurp up the cupcake right through the straw. You can get the recipe here.

Aren't these paper pencils beautiful!!! They are by Upon a Fold. You get one free with every purchase... makes me want to buy something, anything from them just to get one of these!!! They even open up so you can fill them with candy or a little note. Brilliant idea Upon a Fold.

Aren't these chocolate spoons bedazzled with candy so fun! I just can't get enough... they make me smile and happy every time I see them. The possibilities are endless with a colorful array of candies. How fun for a birthday party to have these set out or just to brighten and old day!

Ironies purple and pearl interior

Its been a while since I have shared some interiors. I saw these photos of the Ironies San Francisco Designer Showroom from Alice Lane and I cannot stop thinking about them. They are flawlessly designed down to the smallest detail. That is Ironies for you. I have worked with them in the past and they have the most beautiful furniture... I covet so many items form them, especially the mother of pearl pieces (including this headboard).

DIY bookmark

I just have to share this tutorial from Just Another Day in Paradise. I instantly fell in love with these bookmarks! I am currently designing a few myself right now... I'll show you my creations in a couple days. This is such a simple project that you can complete in a half hour. I love things that I feel I can actually complete in one sitting.
