A few weeks ago I flew to Southern California and designed this fun party for Mia who was turning 8! She didn't want a theme, but just a fun party feel, so more focus was on the decorations we were gathering for the event. The colors they choose were hot pink, teal and lime green. So our Confetti Birthday Party collection was born! This collection is filled with stripes, polk dots and streamers. It's great for a little kids party, teen or adult! More color options are coming soon!!!
We served funfetti cupcakes, of course!, and homemade red velvet cupcakes- both were delicious!
Here is the invitation that we created to coordinate with the party decorations we purchased. We wanted a non theme party of streamers, paper circles garlands and paper lanterns. Mia was turning 8 and it was a birthday/ Baptism celebration!
I made TONS of paper circle garlands! I wanted each garland a separate color. We strung them all over in no pattern.
The room was vaulted and sloped down with beams running parallel on the ceiling. We used these as our base and ran streamers in the same colors (hot pink, teal and lime) with fishing wire down every other beam. We then strung the paper circles over the streamers, as we wanted to make it look like "streamers" were holding them up.
Over the dessert bar I had a cluster of large paper lanterns ranging from 36" to 12". I love the different sizes together and in such a large space we need the larger sizes.
These were taken before all the food was placed... professional photos coming soon hopefully!
